Amici Salon with Ptolemy Mann

A studio supper club and conversation
£55 per person – limited tickets available

We’re excited to continue our evolving programme of Amici Salon supper club evenings at Amici Studio.
These intimate, ticketed gatherings bring together food, art and conversation around a shared table. Held alongside our wider programme, each Salon offers the chance to spend time with artists and like-minded people in a more informal setting — slowing things down and opening space for dialogue.
This edition of Amici Salon takes place during Ptolemy Mann’s In Progress occupation of the studio, offering a rare opportunity to hear directly from the artist as she reflects on a week of experimentation, new making and the ongoing evolution of her practice.

Known internationally for her hand-dyed woven works grounded in colour theory and Chromatic Minimalism, Mann has been developing a new series of gestural paintings on paper throughout the week — embracing the immediacy and freedom that painting offers alongside her labour-intensive thread works. The evening will centre on an open conversation about colour, process and the shifting relationship between material, time and making.
The evening will include:
– A welcome drink and introduction
– An informal artist talk and discussion with Ptolemy Mann
– A shared, studio-style dinner and wine
– Time for conversation, reflection and connection

As with all Amici Salon events, this is conceived as a generous, social evening rather than a formal lecture — a chance to gather, listen and exchange ideas around the table.

Tickets are £55 per person, covering dinner, a welcome drink and wine throughout the evening. Capacity is intentionally limited to keep the atmosphere intimate.
We’d love you to join us.
